Selecting Aftermarket

Use this option to select an alternate part (e.g., Aftermarket, Optional OEM, or Reconditioned part) for the estimate.

To select Aftermarket

1. Open the workfile.
2. Select the Estimate tab, and then the Lines tab.
3. If your estimating rules are set to automatically display alternate parts, highlight a part and select the A/M button.The Select Aftermarket Part screen opens.
4. Select the part from the list, and then click OK. The Estimate Line Properties screen opens.

   If your estimating rules are not set to automatically display alternate parts, a message window pops up informing you to enter the information manually. Click OK. The Estimate Line Properties screen opens.
5. Enter the information in the screen.
6. Select Add To Estimate.
   

Note: Alternate part(s) is the general term that refers to Aftermarket, Reconditioned, or Optional OEM part(s).
